When I use the Verizon remote to find or change a canel; I receive a message that the chanel is not

I'm unable to get shows I want, when I use the remote it says that the channel is not available and recommends that I click on 3 to trouble shot

Channel unavailable means the problem is a poor signal coming to you box. This could be anything from wiring, the box itself, or Verizon equipment. You should probably schedule a tech visit.

Is it all channels or only certain ones?
If you have more than 1 STB, does it happen on all STBs?
Have you tried checking cable connections?
Start at ONT and verify that all connections are tight.
