Whens the guide going widescreen?

Anyone know if or when the Guide is going widescreen? Seems so pointless to have a guide on an HD box be 480. Reminds me of Com{please keep your posts courteous}.

when an update is released, that does so....

apparently the older boxes do have widscreen guide, with the latest update.... will just need to wait for an update that does so on the new boxes.

I had that backwards.....

from the 1.7 thread

"That statement is true on my QIP6416 DVR and I think all 6xxx boxes, but several users of 1.7 on 7xxx boxes have reported that the Guide is stretched full screen when viewing HD channels. Still only 90 minutes displayed, some people apparently like the stretched appearance, some don't. As far as I can see there is no option on any STB to stretch or not stretch the Guide display."
