We just got our Fios bundle installed.  My wife likes to watch TV while I am trying to sleep...is there a way to connect wireless headphones to the HDDVR?

Thanks for your help

Yeah it you can plug it into the RCA port. Best way to do that is to get a RCA to stereo 1/4 jack

what is a RCA to stereo 1/4 jack ---  is that a type of adaptor that plugs into the RCA port of the HDDVR; to which I plug a wireless sending

device into?

Tim, thanks for your help...

then the wireless sending unit would plug into the stereo to RCA adaptor.

I thought the sending units for the headphones were USB -- could the usb port on the HDDVR be used or should I look for the sending unit that plugs into the RCA adaptor?

The USB port on the STB does not work, it is not active. You would need to get a wireless headphone system that has RCA, or stereo jack and get that adaptor. You would plug in the wireless receiver into the RCA jack directly or via the adaptor.
