Can't stand Verizon any more!

After 12 years with Verizon's mediocre service and this last 12 months just awful -- with call after call to get bad static on the line fixed without any repair lasting much over a few weeks, our phone just stopped allowing us to call out.  The service rep said it would be almost a week before anyone could come out to fix the latest problem.  So we asked to speak to her supervisor.  No help, no interest from the supervisor.  So we asked for HER supervisor.  After 20 minutes on hold, we hung up.  We immediately called Bright House to change our service to them and found that we could have been saving a significant amount of money over the past 12 years if we had been using Bright House services, bundled, all along.  The Bright House man came out today and we're ready to go as soon as we can get Verizon out here.  So now we'll have a big bill for having to use our mobile phones, but it's well worth it.  Shame on Verizon and their complete lack of interest in keeping a 12 year customer -- and their terrible phone service over the years.
