I have tried following the redeem link on my phone, through the fios app, on my computer with chrome, and on my computer with safari. The result has been dead links, loops where I am brought back to the dashboard, or a perpetual spinning circle with 'please wait.'
I would love to see this issue resolved, and I'm guessing these steps are on purpose with the number of posts on the forum with customers saying they are unable to redeem this advertised "perk."
