Attention Verizon Fios Customer service

Regarding attention the Verizon management

Regarding represent customer service Lire and fraud service I would like investigation for what completed the conversation between me and the customer Rep. today she said never change your account before in additional you will reduce your total monthly  charge fee less than $5.00 less no the agent he screw me up for my bill and he lire I need investigation about what happen today for changes my account .

Regarding investigation requested today .

I agree with you Somegirl.  Complaining on the forum is a waste of time.  Other  better options. Call Verizon, Get support on line.  E mail the CEO ( This worked for me- very quick and effective. Management really doesn't want to lose customers.) or write a letter to the CEO or someone else in top management.  Their addresses and phone numbers and names are found on line. Do a google search.

Approach all employees in a courteous way.  If I worked in a service department and a customer treated me rudely, I would'nt have much desire to help them either.

In any event, this forum is a place to get help from other Verizon users.  I have had great success getting my questions answered here.  I have also learned alot from just reading the forums.

there is no excuse for poor customer service but i would probably expect to pay for anything on my side of the cable box.  if they give out cables at times as a courtesy thats great  but people constantly upgrade/change tvs and such,  if every customer can just walk in or call and demand free stuff all of us will end up paying much higher prices.

At&t is looking better and better. Not long ago,  I spend the better part of my afternoon on the phone with some slug yahoo from Alabama named Ed (I know all this because he was busier making small talk with me than solving my problem), then hetells me he will have to look into the problem and call me back. On the first call he was friendly enough although he could not solve my problem. On the second call, when he got rude, and I said hey fella thats enough, he preceeded to tell me that this call was not being recorded and he caould talk to me any way he wanted. I rekon them thar yahoos down south do business that way.

You hit the nail right on the head.  The customer service at Verizon now is bad!  Even the supervisors are now getting rude.  I hope you changed your provider=sometimes a couple of dollars extra every month is worth it when your service help is excellent.  I don't know what has happened to Verizon, but a lot of my neighbors are fed up and going elsewhere.  You would think that with the way the economy is they would be more careful not to do stuff to loose customers.  I have been waiting for 2 whole days to get my internet up and running and they still do not know what they are doing.  I am e-mailing through a friend-internet.  Honestly,  I started with Verizon over 20 years ago, and I have to say they are not the company to use for anything!  Hope you got your money back!  I can tell you that many other good companies exist now.  If they can't care about customer service why give them our money.

She then stated, “ We don’t do that here and you’re going to have to call customer service” Realizing that’s what was needed in order for me to accomplish what I needed, I asked if I could call from the facility and she pointed me to the phones.  She then began to harass me, either because she realized that she snapped at me or just to irritate me. To the extent that she came out of the store to stop my car and ask for my name and phone number so she can “send me an e-mail”.

I should inform you guys why I entered the store. Last year I ordered Verizon Fios and the cable installer used my $150 HDMI cable instead of supplying Verizon’s cable for the HD Box. I now need to use my cable for another HD device. I figured since you didn’t supply me with a cable for your HD box that it should be no problem to supply me one. Was I wrong! I spent over an hour in your office plus another hour and a half on my home phone trying to explain that the cable installer didn’t supply Verizon cables for the cable box. That’s 2 and a half hours trying to acquire component cables that Verizon should have supplied. One employee referred me to Best Buy to purchase the cables. Another employee supplied me with used, cheap, 2 dollar cables and was arguing with me about HD resolution and had an attitude problem. I felt disappointed at your customer service and asked to speak to the manager. Well I now understand why your employees are rude, it’s because your management is rude.

Sorry to post this message on a forum but Verizon does not supply a customer complaint phone number or e-mail. I suggest customer satisfaction should be number one priority to Verizon. Fist step is to ask for customers for feedback.

I agree with earlier posters that Verizon has terrible customer service. We have the misfortune of having both wireless internet service and cell phone service from Verizon. Whenever I have called with questions, I  have been bounced from one menu to another and from one person to another. They apparently do not have my account number for the internet service on file. No one was able to find it until my fourth or fifth call and a total of probably 4 hours on the phone. Each person (when I finally got to a real human being) was very pleasant, but they kept sending me somewhere else. Finally someone said, "Oh, you have an air card." No one had ever defined our service with that term before. It is nowhere on our bill. Nor is any of the other information they asked for. I kept getting shunted over to the cell phone department. Trying to get any answers through the website is worse. My account number apparently does not exist. But it is printed on my bill (which we pay faithfully every month by the way). I am furious. Most recent affront was when we tried to return a wireless adapter after 5 days and were told that it could not be returned; the return policy was 4 days. This is not a perishable item. This is not fostering good customer relations. As soon as it is possible I will replace both services with another provider.

Quite possibly the worst Customer Service I have ever received. I called, simply, to respond to technical error popping up when I tried to rent a movie on Demand. This has happened so many times it is ridiculous. I spoke to Jose first. He was rude and exceedingly unprofessional. He then informed me I had to be placed on hold to wait for a Superviser because, "I don't know how to help or what is wrong." I was placed on hold for 15 minutes. No big deal. It didn't turn into a big until someone else in the billing department and requested all of my information again. I explained that I had been put on hol by Jose adn explained the situation to very nice amn named Dave. He stated he hadn't the faintest idea what I was talking about and that no one had been told I was on hold. Great.  He apologized for this deplorable behavior from his co-worker and attempted to fix the matter. He alas, couldn't fix the issue but told me what we needed to do to fix the issue. I was then transeferred again to the billing department and lo and behold guess who answered? Jose, the one and only. What a jerk. After I explained the situation to him again (it couldn't have been more that 25 mins since I spoke to him), I said do you not remember speaking to me and placing me on hold for 15 mins? He said "Um no lady how could I remember everyone I spoke with? I have to put you on hold because I'm in the billing department and honestly cannot help you." I'm then transferred to automated voice service that ask for a 9 digit code the previous sales asscoaite was supposed to give me. It promptly hung up on me so I was forced to call again. I get Jose again. He answers I tell him who I am and he says, "Really? You again? What you can't figure out how fix your own problem." I asked to be transferred to his supervisor he said ok. He transfer me to the autmoated voice again and it hung up on me`, again. How utterly ridiculous! I work in Customer Service and if I ever spoke to my customers like that I owuld be fired on the spot. Jose, you are an idiot and complete jerk. You should be fired, sir, (and I use that term loosely) and never allowed to interact with the public again.
