Hello, I'm Jaye and I'm new to verizon's new services. I use to be a verizon customer back in the days when all there was was the phone and phone bill. LOL!
Here is my dilemna. My Verizon Internet Security Suite found a virus. I look into quarantined and its not there. The virus keeps showing everytime I use the virus scanner. It's in the log like 4 times now plus the one before I cleared the log.
This is what shows up on my log:
File Name
65151EA5-00000003.eml
Virus
Trojan-Spy.HTML.Fraud.gen
Action
Quarantined
Date
2/21/2008 9:43:07 PM (Last Scan Date)
Why can't I find this under quarantine? I would like to delete or the file that has it after I get it into quarantine. Or can it be disinfected? And what is disinfecting?
I would appreciate it if anyone has any ideas on how I can deal with this problem. I hadn't gone to tech support but if I have to after trying to deal with this w/o them first I will.
Thank you and have a wonderfully Happy and Blessed Christmas, Channukah, Kwaanza, Yuletide, etc..... 🙂 ~Jaye

The file might be hidden, you should be able to find the file easily when you do a windows search for 65151EA5-00000003.eml
Find it and destroy it, assuming it isnt an important file!

I found the file and deleted it. Then I emptied the recycle bin. I found out from reading the faq's that it may come up later and the answer was to turn off the system restore. I didn't like that idea. I'll see if the virus comes back first. Thanks for advice. It worked perfectly.
