I have a Samsung LCD TV in my living room along with a Samsung computer monitor. Every time I turn on/off my TV (using my Verizon cable remote) it turns on/off the computer monitor. Is there a way to change that?
they basically share the same IR code, so the only thing you can do is physically block the IR on the monitor. Find it, and put some tape over it and use some cardboard or something -
might be ghetto or mickey mouse, but it's the only thing I can think of you doing.
