Is it typical that Verizon only offers an 8 hour window of time for technical support? I scheduled yesterday what I thought was for a 4 hour window of time then found out from my set top box that the technician is scheduled anytime from 8-4pm. Since I am waiting for over two weeks for a Saturday appointment it would seem to me that Verizon should be able to schedule a 4 hour window of time. Perhaps a new Comcast install would be the best way to use my time. I think Comcast would give me a 4 hour window for the install.
By the way I tried through e-mail and chat to resolve the error the technician made when he scheduled me for the entire day after he told me I was scheduled from 8am to noon.
For a communciation company Verizon has very poor internal communication.
