Refund on my VOD purchases since Verizon says they can't fix VOD pixelation problem

I just had a Verizon technician (Kang) out to the house this afternoon for a VOD pixelation problem that just started a week ago. It takes 5-6 minutes to start happening, but then it makes the movie unwatchable.  The tech basically tightened the cable on the router, said something about the with coaxial cable may be too tight then left saying there was nothing more he could do.  He left his card with my son and said I could call his supervisor if I liked.  So naturally I called his supervisor (Jimmy {edited for privacy}) but, (surprise!),  his voice mailbox is full.  (I now understand why Kang was so quick to hand out his bosses phone number).

Anyway - where this is leading very quickly is my finding another provider.  In the meantime, I just realized I have foolishly "purchased" several video titles rather than rent them, mostly for my grandchildren....(Lion King, Elmo's World, etc).  Only problem is, these are now all unwatchable on my system.  SO... I am assuming Verizon will not hesitate to fully refund my purchase price for these titles, correct?  (sarcasm only implied).  Actually wouldn't surprise me if they choose that route since it clearly would be simpler than actually addressing my problem,. I have sent an inquiry, we shall see.
