Hi, I finally posted a web site, but can't find it on the net. Should I have changed the end of the URL before I publish it ? right now it is http://mysite.verizon.net/vzevypvt/ . Was I suppose to change (vzevypvt) to the name of the home page ? and if so how do i do that now?
Your site actually has two URLs, even though Site Builder only shows one.
http://mysite.verizon.net/vzexxxxxx - This is the user id that was assigned by verizon when your account was created.
http://mysite.verizon.net/username - Where "username" is the username you chose for your verizon.net account.
All of your future sites will start with that URL. (Ex. http://mysite.verizon.net/username/newpage )
If you actually want a site with a custom URL like "www.spiffywebsitename.com" then you'll need to look into Verizon Your Domain or another domain service.
