Verizon Internet security suite is crap

For the past 2 years and since I started wit VISS I had no problems until they hooked up with MacAfee. Within the last month I have done 3 system restores and bought 3 different AntiVirus to combat the trojans, adware  that I keep getting. Everyday I have to go through 3 scans to rid my pc. Mac Afee is suppose to be the best but I still get adware and trojans. Even with MacAfee turned on by itself, I got Adware Hotbar and Adware tracking cookies plus numerous trojans. I had to use malwarebytes, Est Nod32, spybot and sometimes SuperAntispyware. When I do called the tech people I am hold for up to 20 -30 minutes. It is frustrating with verizon tech people. I thought they were one of the best. can anyone help me with this problem

#1 Download avast.

http://www.avast.com/free-antivirus-download

#2 As long as you use it for personal use, you can use it for free.

#3 Unistall the Verizon Internet security suite.

#4 Install avast,

#5 Put in your "key" / serial number into avast - before the trail expires.

#6 Make sure that you use a sofware firewall. This could be the Firewall bulit into your OS.

If using Windows, this means Windows XP SP1+ and above (including Vista and 7).

I would highly recommend if you are using Windows XP, to use SP3. Stay away from Windows XP SP1 and SP2, as they are discontined.

avast ranks pretty high (I think it is number 2), out of all the Anti-Virus programs,
