Verizon Reward Card

Has anybody else gotten this email from Verizon?  It did not include a username.  I went to the verizon.com/rewards site, but the links for help with username help did not work.  Of course, the email was a no reply email, so I can't report it.  None of the catagories on the support web page fit my question.  Does anybody know of a general email address for Verizon support?  Calling them will lead to manu menus and frustrating conversations with the tech help.

You should have received a post card in the mail within a week or 2 with the username and password to login to the rewards site on it when you signed up for service. I take it that didnt happen. Do you have the password? If so try using your last name as the username. That should do it for you.

It took about 2 and a half weeks for me to get the card after I got the same email about processing.

When I received the email in question the user name was the order number and the password was my last name, in all caps.

I received an email the day after I ordered my new bundle confirming what I had ordered, and it contained the order number, so if the OP still has that he should be able to find the order number there.

I have had the WORST time trying to get information from Verizon or the company that handles their rewards about this card.  I greatly appreciate the reward but I received the e-mail about checking the status (i believe) on December 29th and the status still says pending.  Ive tried live chatting with an agent about it and they could only tell me that they dont have any further information to give me about it.  They also said that my card would be send on or around the 25th of this month, and now when i check (one day later) it changed to say that it will be sent on or around the 27th.  I dont understand why it's so difficult to find out the whereabouts of $100. Would REALLLYYY appreciate some help on this subject. Smiley Sad

If it says it will be shipped on the 27th then it will. They usually ship UPS and it will take 1-2 weeks to get it. I received a tracking number by email when mine was shipped. Verizon never knows because their refund cards are processed by a 3rd party company. It should be easy to pull up information regardless, but thats Verizon for you.

I called in today because I could not locate my pin number and reached a wonderful Representative from the main "contact us" number 1-855-685-7341. He spent a half hour on the phone with me tracking down Verizon's promotional department to get my pin for me. We finally located a working number folks! Its not the one enclosed with the gift card either. Call 866-818-0295 and be prepared with your account number and the Representative will tell you what your original pin number was right on the phone!

Just wanted to share for those needing assistance.

When I signed up for Verizon Triple Play last September they had a promotion that if you signed up for 2 years you would get a $300 Visa reward card.  When I asked the technician about it he indicated it would take a few months for it to arrive.  Well it has been over 3 months and I have still not received it.  When I called Verizon billing the rep said "Oh - that plan did not come with a rewards card.  If you look at the installation email we sent it did not mention a rewards card."  Well - THAT IS WHAT THE PROMOTION SHOWED ON THE WEB SITE WHILE SIGNING UP!  Needless to say I am totally frustrated with Verizon at this point and when the 2 years is up I will never again go back to Verizon.  Except for the rewards card I could have got the same deal from Comcast - and that is exactly where I will be going back to unless I get some satisfaction immediately.  BUYER BEWARE OF FRADULENT DEALS!  I sure wish I had taken a screenshot while signing up.  Check the other Verizon forums - I am not the only one with this complaint.

Hi RLA269,

Sorry you are having difficulty. An agent with access to your account will reach out to you directly by email, private message in the Forums and/or the billing telephone number on your Verizon account for more information or to help you resolve your issue. Please remember to check your spam/junk folder if you do not hear from an agent.

Does Verizon, the Corporate Entity, have no shame. I have spent hours with tech support just trying to get my phone that always worked before, to start working again-Representative's solution-buy another phone and see if it works. A T.V. system that is so unresponsive, that watching an old test pattern would be more entertaining, and for which we are all being charged the full freight, but should at least get a discount for testing their Beta. And on to the $300 for me, $400 you, +/- a tablet reward. ANYONE WHO WORKS FOR THE AFOREMENTIONED "CORPORATE ENTITY" should have $300, $400, maybe an amount related to your salary, deducted monthly until every "reward" that you make excuses for not paying out is paid in full.
Every time a "forum" is set up ,it is the Corporate way of saying-customer, do our job for us- we don't budget for quality control, we don't budget for paying rewards, if you want a working system, stop wasting time whining about $300/$400 dollars, start a forum, enter a forum, figure out what to do and we'll give you a kudo. And you employees, it's always tough to get a new job-but if you're here, your moral compass needs adjusting.
