What's up with all of the additional charges to the bundle price?

My bundle price was quoted at $117 per month but there is about $50 in charges added to that for the final bill.  How did I fall for this, and what questions did I miss asking when I signed up?

" will this be prorated ? " is the question you didnt ask

and yes it will be.

example, you sign up for service on the 15th and the billing date is on the 30th:

This will make it so your next bill will have charges from the 15th to the 30th AND for the next month ( verizon always bills a month in advance)

Most quotes do not include the cost of the set top boxes or the taxes. Once you add that to the quote that is how you arrive at the final bill.
