Just to confirm, there is such thing as wireless DSL service. DSL (also known as High Speed Internet) is data/internet service over copper phone lines. Dry Loop refers to the fact that you do not have plain old telephone service on the copper phone lines, but you do have dsl service.
What Vz has provided to you is DSL service and what appears to be a wirleless router. You will need to plug the Westell 7500 router in the closest or most convenient location where there is an existing phone jack and power outlet.
Once connected and turned on, the router will provide a wireless network within your home/apartment. Any computer or laptop with a wireless card will be able to see and connect to your wireless network to gain access to the internet.
If your computer does not have a wireless card installed, you can add one. They are not very expensive. Your other choice is to have someone help you run a phone line from an existing wall jack to a place in your computer room.
