I am using a Fijitsu speedport.It keeps dropping out. I called Verizon and this modem is nolonger supported. Thay are supposed to be sending me a new one but it has not even been shipped yet

 So I borrowed a westell versalink 327w But it won't connect to my dsl. How do I set it up for my account

the modem + internet service are a pair.

you need to call up verizon to get the modem assigned to your internet service.

You have to set up the 327W with your user name and password so that it can connect to the internet. Log in with 192.168.1.1 from internet explorer. It will ask for the user name and password the default is admin  and password. If you can't log in then hold in the reset button on the back for 15 seconds and try again. Follow the directions to setup your account.
