Internet Connection

I have had Verizon for about a year but have had problem with service interruption the whole time

this can go on for days, internet is on for 5mins and off for 10mins

I have a  westell 6100 and windows XP

#1 Do have any device that is between this modem and your computer?

b) If so, what is that other device?

#2 Do you have any other computers connected to the Internet from your location?

#3 In your router (westell 6100) go to Trouble Shooting -> Transceiver Status.

and please post them.
