I just got my service update today. Guy came over and installed a second phone line wiring (to my dismay, Verizon did not inform me of this). I asked why, and he said it was because there was already internet service, though I picked the selection that I was purchasing the service and other user was going to disconnect, which should've put me on line 1. Well it didn't, enough with that. I was going to be charged for putting four tiny wires in a binding behind each phone jack, well I believe that's unnecessary, so I did it myself. Modem finally recognized, and connected me. For some reason, my service must not be working, for I'm receiving the other user's internet(128kbps) only, and not my 3mbps. Any help is greatly appreciated. I'm also confused about the GT704WGB router. It doesn't have a username, and idk how to log in to change settings. Basic admin doesn't go through.
