I am having difficulty. I had my computer changed back to factory settings due to a virus. I am able to connect via wired connection, but each time I try to get wireless connection, my router won't connect. I am unable to get anyone else's computer to connect wireless through my router. However, my computer will connect wirelessly via other people's home routers.
I'm thinking I need a new router? Can anyone help?

Are you able to see the wireless network? Do you have a password on your network? Are you getting an error?

In addition to somegirl's info requests, did you have a wireless connection before your computer was reset?

If multiple computers will not connect, reset the router to factory specs. NOTE any custom setting will be gone.
After reset, try to connect, if the issue persists login to the router and make sure wireless is enabled .. if you need help logging in and navigating to wireless page; please tell us what make and model router you have.
ALSO since the computer is at factory specs you may need to setup the network, the procedure varies according to your Operating system
