Hi there, guys. This is my first post on this forum and I created an account just to figure this problem out since customer support has done nothing to solve my issue.
I have Verizon High-Speed with the Westell Modem Model 7500.
Just a couple weeks ago, my internet started going down but it would only happen about once every 2 hours and would come back on on its own. Well, after this minor frustration, we called Verizon and set up an appointment for someone to come check it out. The repairman believed it could be due to a faulty line and said someone would contact us about it... however, no one did and ever since then, our internet has gone down literally every 2 minutes (or 10, if we're lucky).
I tried calling again today and ended up on the phone for over an hour only to have them send me a new modem.
If someone could please help, I would greatly appreciate it. I see that I'm not the only one thats had this issue. Here is the status and also the (very shortened version of) the log. Thank you!

See my post entitled "False Advertising." The technician who has visited my house three times said I need to lower my service to 1.5 Mbps. This is no longer supported by Verizon, so I would have to lower the DSL speed to the range .5 - 1.0 This is basically fast dialup speed. So the only real choice for me is to accept the occasional outages, or get Comcast cable with a UPS to keep the phone working during power outages.

To OP: Can you provide the Transceiver Statistics from your modem?
In your case, this means:
Visiting http://192.168.1.1/ for me and do the following:
1: If you see a Blue and White Westell page, mouse over Troubleshooting, go to DSL, and choose Transceiver Statistics. Copy/Paste the information on that page.
2: If you see a Red and Black Westell page: Go to System Monitoring -> Advanced Monitors -> Transceiver Statistics. Copy/Paste the information on that page.
3: Try visiting http://192.168.1.1/transtat.htm which is a direct link to the Stats on older modems.
If you need a Username and Password, try the following:
admin/password
admin/password1
admin/admin
admin/admin1
admin/Serial Number.
* By Serial Number, I don't mean type in the words Serial Number. I mean find and type in the serial number found on the bottom of this router.
