I have had Verizon DSL for about six years and was able to get an increase of speed to the 5mbps level about two months ago. I purchased a WRT54G Linksys router to set up a wireless network. I selected the G in order to continue using an XP computer along with some Win 7 computers. The router setup went as planned. I set the 6011G modem to bridge mode as described in several forum posts. I cannot get past the Walled Garden screen. There are several options to select including my account number, phone number, zip code etc. I have tried several of the choices all leading to a statement that the account already exists but still no internet access. I went back to the modem default with a reset and removed the Linksys router for now in order to have internet service. What have I missed?

Log into the modem at http://192.168.1.1/ using one of the following logins:

Once you are able to log into the modem, visit http://192.168.1.1/verizon/redirect.htm and disable the Walled Garden. That's all that is needed!
