Blocked Call List Not Working

I added a phone # to my blocked caller list since it was the standard "Rachel/Lisa/Cathy, etc." from cardmember services but the calls are still coming through. Thankfully, Nomorobo is catching them but what is the point of having a blocked caller list that can hold up to 100 #s and then it doesn't block the call? My phone shouldn't even ring yet it does.

 

Yet another reason to regret ever sighing up with Verizon.
