Guide does not default to Favorites

With the new IMG 1.9 the Guide on my set top box does not default to Favorites 1 as it did previously.  I can switch to Favorites 1 by pressing the favorites button or going to guide options, but I would prefer to start out at Favorites 1.  I do not have this problem on my DVR which is the same model (Motorola 7216).  Is there a way to fix this?

Check the Last Guide State in Settings.

For anyone else using this solution, this setting is found under menu > settings > television > last viewed guide state.  I set it to enabled.
