Well I know that there has been a huge delay in the software release for IMG 1.9 but like any software release it has to go through a beta to make sure it works as intended and that it doesn't cause issues with pre-existing software.

So now, when Verizon employees went on strike, rollout will stop?  I am sure it will. Very good reason for you, Joe to say - sorry guys, it's beyond our control - there is no CSR to respond, so no rollout unless srike will be over. Admit it Joe - we not gonna get IMG 1.9 this year...

There is always excuse for you guys, always. If I will do my job at my company like Verizon did with rollout... well I would be fired  already.

They are busy rolling it out to areas not effected by the strike.  Example California and Texas.  Also the strike doesn't explicitly stop those doing the rollout in the east and ne.  But makes it difficult as some of those who might be working on it will be reassigned to cover other things while the strike is on.

Are you serious? What's the freaking hurry? How condescending can a person be. I was told, after FINALLY making the choice to upgrade my Fios Internet to include TV and phone, that I would have IMG 1.9 when the install happened. Well, that's been over two months ago and I still don't have it. Seems like Verizon employees mouths write checks their company can't cash to get people to sign up and pay well over $100 per month for this wonderful service with no intention of delivering on what they promised. I finally got the email last Friday that 1.9 was coming, and I'm still waiting. I was actually prepared for it to take a week as that seems to be the norm from email to update, but now with figurehead apologist and excuse maker Joe A's last couple contributions here, and the 45000 (maybe more by now) Verizon employees going on strike, I am definitely not holding my breath, that's for sure. I get more disgusted with Verizon and their lack of customer service more every month. Thank God I signed up for month to month and can cancel at anytime with no penalty and easily go back to Directv. They are begging me to come back, and are offering to pay up to $200 in ETF's, plus offering NFL Sunday Ticket for free. Sounds like perfect timing, and so far, I see ZERO IMPROVEMENT in features or benefits to Fios. In FACT, I went backwards. No external hard drive connectivity, remote control functions and guide functions that don't even compare, and I went from 3 DVR's to two, and am paying MORE. The more I think about it, the stupider I feel for listening to a Verizon employee and switching.

Absolutely, you should jump back to DirectTV. If I could  (I cannot  install dishin my loc.) I would do this - not to deal with absolutely incompetent Verizon folks

We appreciate whatever you can tell us. FioS is awesome and the guide is secondary to the content and I can wait, I hope others can be a little more patient.

Massachusetts. And it's not the I cannot install DirectTV in my state - the problem is I do not have direct view of the DirectTV sattelites.
