Account number changed?

I recently upgraded/renewed our FIOS bundlewhich upgraded phone to DIgital Voice.  I saw a note that the account number would be changing which would effect Bill Pay payments.  No problem.

The account number has not changed as displayed on my account. However, in  "My Messages" there is a message from the date that we renewed that is titled "Voice Migration" with a note that the account number will be changing from <current number> to <a new number>.  Again, the accont number has not changed as displayed on my account.

The old number displayed in the My Message is a partial number which is the same # of characters as the new number showing.

However, on the bill, it also says to use the "old account number" when contacting Verizon.

I need to know if the billing account number indeed has changed and how can I confrm the exact number I need to change for Bill Pay??
