Advertised Renewal Offer Not Being Honored

Hello.

If you are offered a promo from Verizon, be sure to snapshot the offer before signing up. I was offered a discounted promotion (took snapshots of it) but after I completed my renewal the initial promo was not honored and was $50 more than what was agreed upon. I called VZ and they acknowledged the discrepancy (I’m calling it false      advertisement) and created a ticket to correct. 2 weeks later and still no resolution. BTW... last billing issue I had too 6 months to fix.  It’s been a month and I’m now being charged a much higher rate than I signed up for. Reps promise to call back but they never do and they refuse to transfer me to a supervisor. I want to cancel my service because I don’t want to pay the much higher rate I’m being forced to pay but I’m m told that it will cost me $350 for the cancellation fee,  they trapped me. What a scam, beware!!!!

Hi Electro960,

Your issue has been escalated to a Verizon agent. Before the agent can begin assisting you, they will need to collect further information from you. Please go to your profile page for the forum and scroll down the page to an area titled "My Support Cases." Under "My Support Cases" you will find a link to the private board where you and the agent may exchange information. The title of your post is the link. This should be checked on a frequent basis, as the agent may be waiting for information from you before they can proceed with any actions. To ensure you know when they have responded to you, you may subscribe to the case. At the top right of your support case there is a gear icon which provides a drop down menu with support case options. Click that and choose "subscribe."
