Is it just me or did everyone's monthly FiOS bill go UP?!
I spent 40 mins on the phone and was disconnected 3 times! Verizon stopped mailing me statements for no apparent reason and raised my monthly service by $10.00. Now that I think about it, that's probably why they stopped sending me statements so I wouldn't notice! Worst customer service I have ever encountered in my life.
I went to the verizon online website. All the links to view my bill or see what service I currently have don't work. The "letusknow.verizon.net" online survey link does not work either.

Check your bill and make sure there are no 3rd party charges on it.

When my yearly price guarentee contract was about to go up, I received a letter telling me that the internet service, non-contract price was 10 dollars higher so that is what might have happened to you as well. You might be able to try to get another contract to lower the price.

Agree with pamcphilly ... my contract was up back in May and about a month or so prior to that, I started receiving notification from Verizon that my rate would be going up $10/month. Not sure if that was a result of the contract expiration or just a planned rate increase across the board. So no surprises here ... those disclosures are probably going wherever your bills are gong ... did you maybe signup up for Paperless?

I just got Fios and wanted to pay off my regular old phone bill and I also can't get anyone to explain why I can't pay the bill online. I am wondering if we made a terrible mistake by leaving our cable company. The customer service hours are ridiculous for working people.

Maybe a budle promo expiration (when I originally signed a contract it expired after 6 mos, but was able to continue indfefinatly by bundling my VZW bill....in other news, any one know anything about removing the contract stipulation since it is no longer required for new installations?
