I hate Verizon

I have had family plan with Verizon wireless since several years without any problems. However recently, I switched over to Verizon FioS for phone/internet/TV because of conviniece of one bill. I switched over from comcast after I was lied to about several things by the FioS sales people that did not turn out to be true.

- I was told that several fitness channels are available in the standard FioS chanel lineup - There is none available

- I was told that no digging will be involved to install FioS - That was a lie as later they told that they will need to dig the lawn to install the cable.

- I was told a price of 24.99/month for internation programming - The actual price is 34.99/month

- I was told the installer will install an extra cable point for $19.99 - The installer said he cannot install extra cable points and I need to hire an electrician which costs $200.

- Verizon cancelled my previous account and transferred $400+ to the new FiOS account. Now they refuse to send a bill for the old account. The bill is also not available online either as the old accout information is no longer available online.

I have called Verizon several times and spoken to several rude customer service persons after waiting many hours without any resolution. I regret the day I decided to switch to FioS. I will switch back to Comcast once I find out more about about the Verizon  cancellation policy.

One mistake you made and I'm not trying to be rude but you took someones word. I dont care who it is, get it in writting or look for the facts/information online in print. If you sign up online they tell you the whole process of how fios is installed. Also check channel listings, etc.. before ordering.

I honestly will only order or change my services online. I wont do anything over the phone.

Discovery Fit & Health: Ch 163

Plus many free On Demand folders of exercise programs

This is determined by the neighborhoods installation of FIOS and in accordance with other utilities in the area. We can not control this on a house per house basis. I am sorry the option is only for buried services in your area.

We have many different international channels and packages, all priced differently. You can review them all at http://www22.verizon.com/home/FiOSTV/Channels/#premiumchannels then in the middle of the page click international.

Verizon does install extra TV wall jacks. Every home layout is different. Sometimes there are obsticals or limitations that prevent us from installing new jacks. These hurdles need to be taken by a professional,

We do not have access to old Verizon Wireless records here. We handle FIOS accounts. To get informatino regarding your previous wireless billing, please post your request on the Verizon Wireless Community board at https://community.verizonwireless.com/welcome

We moved from MD to MA and Vzon does not offer FIOS, so we cancelled all but our wireless services.  Did love FIOS and OneBill...until it came to our first bill in MA for wireless only, which we paid in full.  Verizon cashed our payment, but lost it or applied it to another account.  We are told even though we submitted proof of payment through our bank that Verizon cannot resolve the issue.  One person told me that Verizon applied it to a balance due on the cancelled parts of the FIOS contract.  Another told me that this account wasn't cancelled.  Another person told me that this account was cancelled and the balance due was zero.  Nevertheless, after 15 years with Verizon and no issues, we are being treated like bad customers with a poor history. When our contract for wireless is up, one year and counting - goodbye Verizon.  I have spent over two hours discussing/arguing with Financial Services.  At this point, Verizon owes me compensation for their internal error and my time trying to help them.  HATE VERIZON.
