Hello All,

I'm looking for practical information regarding coordinating our Verizon services from one area to another.  We currently subscribe to FiOS TV, internet, and home phone. 

  • Are we allowed to keep our original contract with Verizon, and simply bring the services with us?
  • Can we keep our same phone number, even though the area code is different where we're moving?
  • How soon should we notify Verizon of our new address and moving date?
  • Will our service be "switched on" when we arrive in our new home?
  • Will a Verizon technician come to our new home to set up the wireless router, set top box, etc.?
  • Do we bring all that equipment with us?

I would appreciate any other useful information you might be able to provide me regarding transferring our services smoothly.
