I share your pain. When I bought my Droid last month, the Verizon store rep assured me that Bluetooth voice dialing worked and we all know that's wrong, wrong, wrong. After I manually upgraded to Froyo 2.2, my Jawbone worked but the stock voice recognition didn't. I found this app, Choice Dialer, which replaces the stock voice dialer and it works very well. it has a little problem sometimes recognizing contact names but you can adjust the settings to your preference.
