Oh my goodness! Contacts are very important, personally I would be lost with out my contacts and especially when I cannot call some of them. No worries, help is here. What app are you using for your back up? What happens when you try to call some of your family/friends, are you getting an error message? Have you tried to power cycle or re-insert the battery?
