The device payment plan allows you to pay off the full retail price of a phone in 24 monthly installments. Did anyone mention you could purchase a certified pre owned device? http://vz.to/1KVaE4u  How about borrowing a device from a family member or friend for a couple of months? We are not scripted and are really trying to help you as much as we possibly can.
I really wish you would reconsider your decision to go to a competitor. We would like for you to remain in the Verizon Wireless family.
