fish hooks.jpgAs a customer to so many different companies, I know what keeps me loyal – it’s a business that appreciates my business.  That’s a business that gives me an advantage to shop at their store or buy their goods.


For instance, truthfully, I don’t care which credit card I use to buy stuff.  However, years ago when one card was offering airline miles and another was offering points which could be redeemed for gifts or cash back, that’s when I started caring.  Suddenly, I was conscious of the card I use as I make purchases because I wanted to build up frequent flyer miles (by the way, I’ve gotten a few free flights and I love it!).


And coupons… nothing gets me into a store faster than a coupon.  Who doesn’t like getting a good bargain?  So if a particular department store is offering me a $25 or a 25% off coupon, of course I’ll browse their store first before going to another store.  Most likely I’ll buy whatever it is I need at the store giving me that coupon just for the savings.


At Verizon, we do our best to keep customers loyal and keep them happy all because we want them to feel like we really appreciate their business.  Bottom-line, we really do.  Without our customers we wouldn’t be in business. 


For our small business customers we offer Verizon Business Link Rewards, giving our small business customers, whose monthly service expenditures are over $125 points, for every dollar spent.  These points add up pretty quick and many gifts or rewards can be redeemed.  We learn that many of our small business customers redeem points for gift cards at Starbucks or Target and give it to their employees as a reward for their hard work.  Of course, others also redeem points for office supplies or other items that will be useful to their business.


For our residential customers we also offer Verizon Perks providing them with online discounts for top national brands, free savings opportunities in each community Verizon serves, and numerous free surprises and ongoing Verizon insider offers.  And, for our customers who refer Verizon services to their family or friends we also reward them – up to $600 per year.


These reward programs let our customers know that we really care about their business and gives them special offers for being a loyal customer.
