Why am I constantly having to verify and reselect the e-mail I want to delete!! This gets to be very irritating and time consuming.
Please help if you can

Based on the information you provided I am unable to answer very specifically. Are you referring to webmail or using a 3rd party program such as Outlook, Eudora, Incredimail, Macmail etc? A re-verify is usually done in the case where a message will be permanently deleted with no option of recovery. If you are deleting them from Verizon Webmail inbox there is no verification. If you are deleting them from the trash folder there is a verification alerting you that once done there is no future retrieval. You can remove all email in the trash folder with only one verification if you check the white box at the top left to "Select All".
