I have been getting same error message as others this a.m.

Sounds like from what others have said, we have an email down situation.
There was quite the tremendous storm here in southwestern MA last night and not sure how widespread the storm was - affected stuff at my work (fortunately not badly).
I do hope to have verizon email back up soon.

I logged onto verizon.net and set the email forward to a gmail account and everything is forwarding and working. Also using outlook the outgoing server works fine for sending emails but fails on the download. Gmail is already in my phone so no interruption on incoming mail. Also all test emails before setting the forward were lost

Getting same error here in RI since at least 5:30 am. It is now 10:00am and there has been no resolution. Live chat and auto chat are both down but my internet and everything else is working fine. Just cannot get to the email page.
