I have been able to receive emails this morning but cannot send.  I am using Outlook

I've been having the same problem this morning using Thunderbird.  The SMTP server(s) connection keep(s) timing out.

We use Thunderbird and it has been timing out all morning, unable to send messages.

Same here. From Thunderbird, and from an iPad's mail. Where is the system status page? I haven't found it in the Verizon website support pages.

Same here.  I have outgoing on port 465, so this baffles me.  It's been several hours.Verizon needs to get their **bleep** together.

Same here, down all morning.  Wonder when Verizon will declare an outage?  ...if ever

Verizon 800 # says email server "down for maintenance until sunday 1/5 11am"!!!  Really????

Windows Live Mail not sending

I am receiving email, but can not send.  Was able to send last week, now receiving this message:

The connection to the server has failed.
