password problem

I cannot get new mail on Apple desktop wont recognize the password I use to open Verizon web mail page.  I have tried to change in preferences no luck!!!!!

As of yesterday afternoon, I've experienced a similar problem.  Although I can get my verizon email on my desktop, I cannot on my iPhone.  The message I get says that my username or password is incorrect -- yet it's the same username and password on my desktop!

NO PROBLEMS WITH ABOVE SET UP.

SOMETIMES TURNING iPad/iPhone  COMPLETELY OFF SOLVES THE PROBLEM

FOR OTHER SECURITY REASONS I RECENTLY CHANGED MY PWD WITH VERIZON

AND HAD NO PROBLEM WITH BOTH APPLES ONCE I CHANGED PWDS ON THEM

PLEASE LET US KNOW IF THIS SOLVES YOUR PROBLEM.

If all of the settings are correct and it still will not work. delete the account then add the account again. All you will need is the email address and password. the software will correctly configure the rest of the settings. Doesn't wok if you are a Yahoo portal partner (you will need to manually configure) and emails will be lost if not on the email server (may need to backup email first).
