Hey all - I've been at work - I am in Elkridge too (the other side of the tracks for Ho.Co.) - When I got home, the Mac seems to be back to normal. I have no clue about POP or any of the other technical talk. But I know I've tried everything - from hard resets to changing just about every setting in the modem & Mac. I would agree if the IP was blocked why would my PC continue to work...

My bigger question is why couldn't Verizon tell us what was going on instead of letting us guess and self-trouble shoot??

I wasted a couple nights and a run to the Apple store trying to fix this...

Anyway gald to be back up - and hopefully this was the last time...

I really did not think it was it as I had two different IPs with same issue...but when it worked this morning I figured the next step was to see if any of your connections were fixed to determine if maybe a range of IPs had issues or they just fixed whatever it was.  I appreciate everyones help..or moral support...it was refreshing to know I was not the only one having issues out here.

I got a personal call from them.  Soemthing was wrong on their end for a big chunk of Maryland.  It's all working now.  Myself included.
