Got wireless internet but its only at 65 percent, i live in a downstairs apt from the landlord who has the service. Can I put an ethernet cord in the back of the motorola reciever and plug it into the ps3 for internet service? Or how do I get a hardline into the ps3 from the fios?

Does your landlord have an Actiontec Router or Westell Router? This is the router provided by Verizon.
You can certainly plug an ethernet cable from the VZ router and run it to your place. You cannot run an ethernet cable from the ONT (if that is what you are referring to, which is the box on the outside of the home).
