To Verizon:
I have been reading much about various imminent capabilities of FIOS DVRs and frequently read that this capability or that capability is in beta testing, or that is has already been rolled out, but only in certain parts of the country. I'd like to formally inform Verizon, that I volunteer to be a beta tester for FIOS TV Home Media DVR software and hardware and feature upgrades. Please consider me when you seek such customer-level assistance.
Specifically, how do I get the capability to share HD video from my HD DVR to a second HD Settop box? I am running IMG 1.6 which presumably has the capability, yet my local provider says that the HD STB will not work with the DVR, so he didn't give me one, but I have a second HD DVR.
Secondly, I understand that there is a beta version of Media Manager that allows video streaming to the STB in addition to photos and audio. Please consider this my formal volunteering to help you with beta-testing this capability.
