Tablet a Day Giveaway

On 8/2/13 I won the tablet a day give away.  Verizon called and left a voicemail stating I would get an email to confirm my shipping address, I never got the email.  Today I called Verizon, spent and hour and a half on the phone talking to 6 different people in 5 departments and still did not get an answer.  Has anyone else won this giveaway or know how to get help with this?

First off, congratulations and thanks so much for entering!

 

After a phone call, there is a short window of verification, to ensure the winner (in this case, you) meets the requirements.  Then an email confirmation is sent.  You should be receiving an email today.  We’ll let the agency know you called and have them call you back.

I also won but as far as I know didn't receive a phone call. I entered information into the box that popped up. It stated that I would be contacted by email. So I have been waiting and nothing in about a week.

 

I also called and was bounced around to different sections of  Verizon. No one seemed to know that there was even a contest going on. Finally I was told that there was no one I could speak to and I would have to email at the verizon.com/contact us page. I was just about to do so but first I decided to look for any references to the contest. So I am replying to this thread.

 

I look forward to a getting a response to this and I will also send an email at verizon.com/contact us.

I went to the online chat and was connected to billing and services.  They logged an inquiry and i did receive a call on Thursday, they are looking into it and will be giving me a call.  Make sure you have the date you won.

Hi Astilbe2,

Your issue has been escalated to a Verizon agent. Before the agent can begin assisting you, they will need to collect further information from you. Please go to your profile page for the forum and look at the top of the middle column where you will find an area titled "My Support Cases". You can reach your profile page by clicking on your name beside your post, or at the top left of this page underneath the title of the board.

Under "My Support Cases" you will find a link to the private board where you and the agent may exchange information. This should be checked on a frequent basis, as the agent may be waiting for information from you before they can proceed with any actions. Please keep all correspondence regarding your issue in the private support portal.

I also logged in today and got the following message:

 

"CONGRATULATIONS, YOU’RE TODAY’S WINNER.

You’ll receive an email confirmation of your prize.

In the meantime, discover all the things you can do with My Verizon using these helpful tips."

 

 

I have not received an email or been notified of confirmation of the prize. Would you please advise how I should proceed? Thank you.

These forums are not really the way to reach the support team.  Mostly us peers here.

 

Don't worry for a few days.  They should get to you.
