Back up and sharing

I am attempting to restore my back up to my computer.  Is it normal for it to take hours to restore.  I have been watching my computer for six hours now it says that that it will be another 4 before completion...Nate

A watched computer never restores.

Seriously, depends on the amount of data and the speed of the connection.  10 hours is a long time but if an enormous amount of data it's possible.

And it takes much longer if you have a lot of small files and folders versus fewer large ones.

Where are you restoring from?  An external site, a CD, another PC?
