Can we use a Personal(market) Router/Modem instead of Verizon supplied one?
if so, please send a list?
Thanks in advance.
Happy New year.

Assuming you are a FiOS customer, the answer is: yes and no. If you have FiOS TV, it is best to stick with the Verizon router.
You can always install your own router behind the FiOS router. You can use any router you like.
This link discusses the various ways of connecting routers to FiOS:

Note that options 4 and 5 don't seem to work on Rev I Actiontecs. It seems like they disabled the settings required, or at the very least made it harder. However, option 2 seems to work well esp. since the Rev I. has a big NAT table. Also, lets you keep the Actiontec's old network active as an auxiliary. (just make sure there is adequate channel spacing)
