configuring router

I want to change my password to my router, but i'm having trouble logging in. What would be my user name and password?

if it is the default one it will be

admin ----for the username

the password will either be..

password

password1

or the serial number of the router.

if this doesnt work, you can always reset the router (red reset button on the back of the router).

This will default it to the password 'password'.

What model router is it?

If you opt to rest the router the defaults are different for the Westell 9100EM.   For that router the deafult is for you, the user, to enter whatever userid and password you would like.  Sfter confirming the password theose setting are then stored.
