Fios optimizer causes weird memory leak during network usage?

OK without using the optimzer to edit my tcp ip settings my upload speed is pretty slow. But the thing is that when I do use it there is a really bad problem and I have confirmed this. I have a gigabyte p55m ud2 mobo with realtek gigabit lan and when I do  edit the tcp settings with the optimizer by verizon I have this weird memory leak where my memory usage suddenly jumps to 98 percent when my network usage goes up too much. (such as downloading a file, etc.) This is on windows 7.

My specs: core i5

4gbddr3 ram,

gts 250

windows 7 64bit

PLEASE HELP!

It almost sounds that you have some processes running that don't need to be. You can check in your

Windows Task Manager and see if anything else is running that doesn't need to be.

You could also use Task Manger to see what application is using all that memory.

Open Task Manager and on the Processes page click on the Memory tab to sort by memory usage.  Maybe that will shed some light on what's causing the issue.
