you need two things
you need the name of your network (ESSID)
and
you need the password of your network (WEP)
you can find it on your router
its a service tag that says actiontec
So if the router is standing upright, it's on the left hand side
if it's laying flat you may need to lift it up to read it.

Go to router admin
Wireless
Basic security
SSID is the wirless name you want to connect to
Lower down where it says enter your WEP KEY this is the key that you would use.
I would strongly suggest that you follow the directions to change the sceurity from WEP to WPA/2

I would log into the router and change the wireless security to WAP as a minimum. That is what I am running and my daughter is running her brand new Ipod touch 4.x with the 63 character key, She ran it with her old IPOD, I told her if she can type it in correctly then she can use it. It didn't take her long. It is amazing how resourceful a teen can be when they want something.
