How to increase wireless speeds

Hi,

yesterday we got 50/25 FIOS. So far we have changed the router to n only mode and changed the security settings to WPA2 but the best speed i can get is 38Mb. I also looked at my N adapter and the transmission speeds is only 65Mb when its cabable of 150Mb. Is there anythign else i can do to get a much faster speed. Ive seen people with wireless say that they have got 50+ Mb on the 50/25 plan

What wireless adapter is installed in your computer, or what devices are you seeing the 65Mbps link speed on? Also, what revision of the MI424WR router do you have?

Since my built in wireless card on my desktop was not working, the technician gave me a ZyXEL Wireless N Adapter N 220 150 Mb adapter. I just click on teh utilities and it shows that my transmission speed is 65Mb. They gave me the REV I Router
