pls help Vereizon System went down, when it returned I could not use mouse, external drive or cd drive. Get message ***

Hi. That sounds like a pc problem. Definitely reboot. If you can't reboot using the mouse then press and hold the power button for 10 seconds. Then power it back up

I found another user that had a similiar experience, he wasn't a Verizon user, but his fix is found here.
You might have to run malwarebytes or similar software, also it says to inspect your msconfig for foreign files starting up with PC.
If you're not very familiar with this type of stuff, then I would recommend getting a friend or family to help out and maybe even taking it to the geek squad.
you can also try a System restore, that might help.
