I want to switch my internet from Coax to Ethernet. If I connect the ethernet cable from the ONT to my Fios Quantum Router, and then call up to have them switch my internet from coax to ethernet, will that work?
Secondly, how will this affect my network extender? Do I also need an ethernet port connected to that or will coax still work? And if I need an ethernet port, does it need to stem from the router?
Lastly, my TV's are using coax, will changing the internet to ethernet have any impact on this?

Yes. Just run the ethernet and call Verizon to switch your connection from MoCA to ethernet. Your extender, router, and TVs will still stay con connected to the coax.

Hi. Thanks for your help. In order to get this done, all I need is to run an ethernet cable from the ONT to the router, correct? Nothing else at all needed?
