I have been playing with ipv6 tunnels for a few years handing out a subnet to my machines at home. Is there any testing going on of raw ipv6 to the home? If yes, I'd love to volunteer to be a beta tester. Currently tunneling through HE, SixxS, or freenet6 are my only real options.
Blue skies...

I'm also interested in using directly connected IPv6 at home. The current router handed out by Verizon doesn't seem to support anything regarding IPv6, so it seems.
Any information, even a "not till [insert date here]" would be nice.

FYI, announced a few days ago, Comcast is starting testing of IPv6, with a dual v4/v6 stack by the end of 2010 Q2. (http://www.comcast6.net/).
With all the news from a few years ago about Verizon mandating IPv6 for next-gen mobile phones and the like, I would have thought that IPv6 would be coming sooner than later.
Anyone from Verizon reading these?

I saw the Comcast ipv6 announcment back in Jan on the NANOG list and was green with envy. IIRC, that was what prompted me to ask here, but I've slept since then. 🙂 Could have just been magnificent timing! Heh. At any rate, I know that the cell phone penetration with ipv6 is quite strong, I was hoping that raw ipv6 would transfer over to consumer land soon. Still sitting with my Hurrican Electric tunnel's fingers crossed.
Again, to any Verizon SE's around, I volunteer. I said I VOLUNTEER to beta test. 🙂
Regards... Todd

I, too, would like to know if/when Verizon will be taking volunteers for IPv6 testers. Comcast is already recruiting via www.comcast6.net.
